The Magical Cherry Blossom Season in Edinburgh!

Edinburgh, UK

“The significance of the cherry blossom tree in Japanese culture goes back hundreds of years. In their country, the cherry blossom represents the fragility and the beauty of life. It's a reminder that life is almost overwhelmingly beautiful but that it is also tragically short.” - Homaro Cantu

Cherry Blossom season has to be one of the most beautiful seasons in Edinburgh but also one of the briefest. This is the first year I haven't stayed in Edinburgh during Cherry Blossom season so I don't have quite as many photos as I normally would, or so I thought... I recently sorted through some of my photos and came across a selection of photos I didn't get around to posting to Instagram so I thought it'd be a nice idea to document this beautiful season in a blog post. I hope you enjoy the few photos I chose and if you didn't get a chance to visit Edinburgh during the season then I hope you get a chance to experience a slice of the magic of it!

That's all for now! Hope you have a lovely day wherever you are.
